Whitney to a traverse of the Inca Trail, the Exum Guide is a rugged mountaineering shoe designed for hikers, alpinists, peak baggers and Via Ferratas. The high ankle and stiff, but sensitive sole is built for hiking comfort, but support for scrambling and 5th class climbing. Compatible with strap-on crampons, the mid-top Exum Guide has a durable non-sealed water resistant nubuck leather upper. Providing extra stability is Five Ten’s patented molded proprietary heel cage, EVA cushioning and shock-absorbing C4 S1 co-molded soles.
