Boot Review: Boreal Tundra

Boreal gives us a boot that provides stability and waterproofing.

“Instant comfort, great support,” says our equipment editor after wearing these synthetic-upper boots on a bushwhack in California’s Trinity Alps. Lateral stiffness and a touch of leather around the ankle collar add stability in rougher terrain, and a waterproof/breathable liner keeps feet dry. Fits medium-width, medium-volume feet best.

Price: $200
