Backpack Review: GoLite Vision

An ultralight backpack that does it all

After a 22-mile dayhike in Idaho’s Boise National Forest, our tester says this pack carried nearly 20 pounds so comfortably he didn’t give it a second thought. He figures the ultralight daypack can handle at least 25 pounds, thanks to its rigid framesheet and hip-hugging belt. It has the capacity for big days, easily swallowing extra layers and plenty of food, and it holds a 100-ounce bladder. On-the-go access is quick, thanks to a big panel zip to the main compartment, a large bellows front pocket, angled side pockets, and dual axe attachments.
