The one thing that I haven't seen suggested is to put your bear canister inside a plastic garbage bag and air seal it with a tie. This will keep the bears away from your camp. Just because they can't eat your food doesn't mean you're not attracting bears. Posted: Jun 11, 2011 WalterIII
