Mount Rainier National Park: Paul Peak Trail to Mowich River

Hike 6.5 miles on a lesser-traveled trail on the forested side of Paul Peak to the Wonderland Trail, then down to the banks of the Mowich River.

To Trailhead

From Buckley, turn S onto WA 165. Just beyond the Carbon River Gorge bridge, bear R onto Mowich Lake Rd. Go about 11 mi. to park boundary, continue another .5 mi. to trailhead on R.
