i am tramping alaska for 2 years now real simple meal 1 can diced chicken , angelhair pasta , montery jack or colby cheese boil pasta then throw in chicken cheese and spices of your own and walla you have a quick and filling meal that takes 15 minutes with little to no prep time enjoy
Just pack along oil packed tomatoes then: No cooking, plus olive oil = healthy tasty fuel source.
2 pots? Easy, nestelled pots, big/small. Boil water and drop dried tomatoes into water, remove when rehydrated, chop.
I agree, when backpacking I rarely have two pots.
2 pots? No way. Why not throw the tomatoes in with the pasta for the last few minutes of cooking?
