“My stove of choice for alpine starts,” says our tester, a pro snowboarder who spent 20-plus days camping last winter. “As long as I slept with the fuel canister to keep it warm, I could have coffee and oatmeal ready within four minutes,” he says.

The burner attaches directly to the one-liter cooking cup, which has an integrated heat exchanger, plus a handle and sipper lid so you can boil, mix, eat, and drink from the same vessel. Unnecessary but cool: An indicator on the cup changes color as the water heats.

“It further streamlines my morning ritual,” says our tester, “so there’s always time for a hot breakfast.” $100; 1 lb.; jetboil.com
