Agree. Not intuitive, but I figured it out. I also was looking in the March issue for a hike. On the bottom of p. 23 in black bar it has the URL backpacker.com/hikes/ . Put the Hike ID after the slash and the hike will come up.

Having trouble finding your existing trips? Try going to http://www.trimbleoutdoors.com/TrimbleOutdoors.aspx. Seems like this is the primary location for trips created through the backpacker gps tool and they just don't have a good interface to it through the backpacker.com site.

I downloaded the app GPS Trails so I could upload my trips to this site like advertised on this site. I sat at the trail head this morning for an hour waiting for the app to find the GPS satellite. Well it never happened. It was searching the entire hike and never was successful. I don't recommend it. Especially because it was $10 wasted.

It's 2011 - why doesn't your search function work? Tried searching for "Trip ID 938365" - nothing. Tried searching "Bozeman Cave Lake" - nothing. Can you email the longitude and latitude for the article, and then maybe I can use my GPS to find it...

Add me to the list - how do you find a trip??? I setup an account just so I could get the data - was not the solution......

I agree! I'd like to find this hike that is published in the March 2011 issue. Can't find it at all, no matter how I search. Where is it?? What good does the Trip ID do if it doesn't help find the trip?

The "Start Now" and other links are not working on this page. I can't upload a trip.

How do access Trip ID 509970? A link on available trip might help or at least provide simple directions.
