Enough support and comfort to carry a big load for 56 miles in four days--that is, if you're up to it
When rain changed to snow during a trek on the Oregon side of Hells Canyon, our tester thought he'd regret wearing these low-cuts instead of bigger boots. Wrong. Hiking 15 miles the next day through 3 inches of wet snow that turned the trail to mud, his feet never got wet or cold. The shoes had enough support for him to carry 30 to 40 pounds comfortably for 56 miles in four days. Best for medium-width, medium-volume feet.
