Field Fix: Tent Poles Apart
Tackle your tent pole problems with this quick tip.
You pulled your tent pole from its grommet and the tip popped out. Now what? Wrong Way: Forcing the tip, cord, and knot back in all at once causes the cord to bunch up between the tip and pole.
Right Way: Pull the knot away from the tip until there's an inch of cord in between. Pinch the tip and doubled cord to keep the knot in front as you feed the knot, cord, and then the tip back into the pole.
