This sturdy four-person mess kit boasts more than pretty colors.
Serve It
"My kitchen at home isn't as well-stocked as this mess kit," raved one tester after a trip in Colorado's Pike National Forest. The Infinity includes four of everything you need for feasting: large, deep-sided plates; bowls with snap-on lids for storing leftovers; drinking glasses; and insulated sipping mugs. All components are made of polypropylene, which is BPA-free, lightweight, rugged, recyclable, dishwasher safe, and just plain pretty.
In fact, each person gets to pick his or her favorite color–which helps prevent germ-sharing. Pluck just the mug and bowl for backpacking trips (5.5 ounces for the combo); when car camping, keep the entire set in its mesh sack (and inside the Kitchen Sink) for superfast packing. $50; 3 lbs. 6 oz.; gsioutdoors.com.
