A seismograph station counted about 30 small earthquakes.

Yellowstone National Park rumbled a little more than usual on early Tuesday morning.

Five small earthquakes, the highest of which measured 3.4 on the Richter scale, shook the northwest corner of the park about 18 miles south of Gardiner, Mont.

In addition to these tremors, earthquake information specialist Paul Roberson mentioned that there were another 20 or 30 smaller events that occurred during that time period. Roberson doesn’t expect there to be any damage from this batch of earthquakes, reports the Casper Star Tribune.

Earthquakes are common in the park. Last week, there were 54 small quakes between Wednesday and Saturday.
