The Most Expensive Gear

Got money to burn on camping gear? You'd better if you want to buy any of this stuff.
  • Mountain Hardwear Space Station ($5,000). Costs roughly the same as the International Space Station. Can handle similar conditions (note: not recommended).
  • Mountain Hardwear Ghost -40, Long ($1,050). Pair it with the Space Station and an oxygen tank and you can sleep outdoors in space (note: not recommended).
  • Lowa Expedition 8000 RD GTX ($995). These boots were made for walking... to Siberia to carry back cases of Beluga caviar. In winter.
  • Montcler Grenoble Gasherbrum ($1,800). For those who like a little “Euro” with their mountaineering. Comes with a superior attitude. Even the name sounds expensive.
  • FoxFury MF Forensic All-In-One ALS Flashlight ($1,900). So bright you can use it to see the future.
  • Tiffany & Co. Century Flask ($900). Because only precious metals should touch your lips. Fill with Louis XIII Rare Cask 42,6 cognac ($22,000) for best results.
  • McLellan Jacobs Kayak 1 ($??). Described as a one-person yacht. If you have to ask how expensive it is, you definitely can’t afford it.
Mountain Hardwear Space Station ($5,000). Costs roughly the same as the International Space Station. Can handle similar conditions (note: not recommended).
