I'm not going to tell you what to eat but how to eat.
BREAKFAST: High protein/carb menu w/plenty of water.
BRUNCH: Small protein/fruit snack w/water.
LUNCH: Protein w/low carbs and water.
SNACK: Small protein w/fruit and water.
DINNER: Fish, vegetables, fruit. Keep dinner light. DRINK WATER.

unfortunately for a magazine that is titled backpacker - pure fluff - doesn't even scratch the surface and by no means a 101
I can see the packing lists, but not any menus. Is there a glitch.
It seems the link for the weekend menu simple meal preparation is not working
im currently plannin a trip for my whole family when i get back form iraq (me my wife and two kids 5 and 30 what would be a good menu to put together for 5 days in the smokeys
You may consider makeing your own granola without seeds, nuts . Use for breakfast n snacks
Cheese n precooked bacon on a bagel
I have a 6'5 120# son about to embark on 10 days hiking in Philmont. He is allergic to ALL nuts, peanuts and seeds...any recommendations for nutrition.
