RECIPES
Chicken Noodle Soup
Bird in broth
1 Lipton’s Chicken Soup Mix
6 cups water
1 7-ounce pouch chicken
8 ounces macaroni
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1 stalk celery (optional)
Bring water to a boil. Whisk in soup mix with a fork. Add chicken, macaroni, and chopped celery. Return pot to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes or until pasta is al dente. Serves 2.
True Slough Pancakes
Filled with PB and chocolate
1 cup pancake mix
½ cup peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon canola oil
Combine pancake mix with water (per instructions), and stir in chocolate chips and peanut butter. Grease pan with oil, and spoon ¼ cup of batter onto the pan over medium heat. Cook until bubbles appear. Flip and cook two more minutes (until golden brown). Serves 2.

I'm thinking about doing this hike in January.
South Texas bees are known for being very aggressive in the winter months. Has anyone had any bee problems on this trail?
