I have had my tough for two years now and I wear it on a clip attached to a belt loop. It slaps rocks and trees and whatever else gets close. My buddies and I will trough it back and forth while hiking and scrambling without worry. This thing is TOUGH! My favorite picture that I have taken was of a trout swimming in a lake that I had to sneak up on, and by that I mean from under water. Its expensive, but I don't see myself having to pony up more cash for a new camera anytime soon. Oh yeah I don't think I have ever cleaned mine either.
mine drowned at 1m snorkeling in Key West
This camera is INSANE!!
I've had this camera since last summer and I love it! I brought it with me to Hawaii and snorkeled with it every day. It never leaked and took great pictures. You can even shoot a video underwater with sound! This camera needs minimal maintenance; all you have to do is submerge it fresh water for 10min, let it dry, then clean 2 openings (USB and battery) from sand/dirt/dust/hair/etc and it's good to go! I really like the pictures this camera takes and it's nice it's got 3x optical zoom plus a little more of digital zoom.
Highly recommend this to any outdoors-man or outdoors-woman!
