» Rock Quarry Trail, Rockwoods Reservation Trappers once frequented the cool, moist, north-facing ravines of what is now a 1,881-acre reservation. “It’s our own mini Ozarks, and it’s the best bet for a quick dayhike,” says member Margot Kindley. Hit the 2.2-mile Rock Quarry Trail to loop through fiddlehead ferns, redbud trees, and moss-covered limestone formations. Miles from city center 31; Trip ID 328156
