Heavy-Duty Roller: Mountain Hardwear Juggernaut Series | Lightweight Roller: Granite Gear Ultraflight 115 | Classic Duffel: The North Face Base Camp Series | All-in-One: High Sierra Overpass Wheeled | Traveler's Daypack: Patagonia Scramble 35 | Camera Pack: LowePro CompuRover

All-in-One
Get maximum versatility with this go-anywhere bag, which can be worn as a backpack, toted like a duffel, or pulled like a roller. The 76mm wheels are fine for airports and smooth terrain; when the road gets rough, unzip the panel to access the well-padded shoulder harness and hipbelt, which can handle loads up to about 35 pounds over moderate distances. The suspension adjusts from 16 to 21 inches, and the 3,050-cubic-inch pack bag holds all of the gear needed for a week of adventure abroad, with plenty of pockets to separate and organize supplies. The front panel zips off to serve as a smaller summit/scramble pack, and some testers rigged it in front–from the shoulder straps–to keep essentials close at hand. $280; 9 lbs. 6 oz.; hssc.com.
