10 Unique Craft Beers for the Backcountry

Enhance your next hiking trip with these 10 local craft brews. The best part? They come in trail-ready cans. By Shey Kiester.

We get it: canned beer is a splurge, and by the time you hit the third mile, you definitely don’t want to be the one stuck hauling the 12-pack. But if you’re taking a mellower approach to your next trip and can afford to bring along a few packed-oat sodas, ditch the usual tinnies and try out these eclectic canned craft brews instead. Trust us: You’ll be glad you did.

Tender Loving Empire NWPA, Fort George – Astoria, OR
In 2013, Fort George released a mere 2,200 cases of this delectable treat. Named after the record company of the same name, the Tender Loving Empire brings an ethereal tangerine hue to the table, rounding out the killer flavor.

Too slow loading 10 pages to read urban style brew reviews. Put on one scrollable page for car camping or after hike refreshment info.
