Les Stroud Returns With 'Beyond Survival'

The popular survivalist's new Discovery show follows him as he learns survival techniques from indigenous tribes

You knew he couldn't stay away for long: A little under two years since the end of Survivorman, Canadian survival guru Les Stroud returns with a new Discovery show—Beyond Survival. This time, Les will travel the world to hang out and learn ancient survival techniques from some of the most isolated and primitive tribes in the world. Based on the trailer, the result looks, well, pretty kickass.

I am definitely looking forward to Les' take on things. His show is less sensational and he never looks like he is actually taking an uncalculated risk. I wonder about that other guy sometimes.
