Backpacker Magazine – June 2003
Some of the most classic glacier scenery is offered to all visitors of this national park.
This aquamarine gem defines classic Glacier scenery. The chill water is guarded by sheer rock walls on three sides, with a trailside waterfall perfectly situated for a lunch break, brilliant wildflowers, frequent grizzly sightings, and an easy, 9-mile round-trip hike. Start early to avoid the crowds. The trailhead is behind the Swiftcurrent Inn in the Many Glacier area.
