I agree with many comments here.
The web page is extremely slow when trying to advance from one photo/comment to the next on topics.
Who has the time to wait for these to load, then do the same over and over with each pic? You NEED to address this!

I call it a Mule Packer Knot.

As a long-time backpacker subscriber and reader, the non-user-friendly aspects/formats to Backpacker's website and emails have been an equally long-time frustration. It would indeed be wise for the editor to take note of some of these comments and streamline these otherwise frustrating articles, so that we don't all just give up on reading them half-way through anymore. Consolidating the info on ONE page so that the reader could just scroll down instead of continually clicking and waiting for new pages to open, then having 15 tabs open on your computer. blegh.

The Backpacker website is so annoying. Navigating is a pain in the a*&%$#! It has really reached the point where you lose readers because of all of the clicking.

I agree with too many clicks......I would like to see the ENTIRE article in a single page....I have stopped looking at the references....great information,but too much trouble to get it out!!! REI only wants you to see so many pages as it is an opportunity to get additional advertising.
