When will I receive my first issue? Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of your first issue. Where is my missing or late issue? If you didn't receive BACKPACKER this month, it may be due to our yearly subscription consisting of nine issues. Our January/February, July/August, and November/December issues combine 2 months; therefore you will not receive an issue every month. If you feel that your issue is late or you have questions please click here. How do I check my Subscription? We make it easy to manage your subscription online! If you want to renew your subscription, change your mailing or e-mail address, pay your bill, send us an e-mail, or check the status of your subscription, just click here. If you would prefer to call us, just dial toll-free (800) 666-3434 and a Customer Service Representative will be happy to help you. How do I give a BACKPACKER gift subscription? BACKPACKER magazine makes a terrific gift, with all the trail-tested tips and expert advice for unforgettable wilderness experiences! To order a BACKPACKER gift subscription, click here! Where is my free gift? The gifts offered with your subscription are sent separate from the magazine by Standard Class mail. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery within the U.S. or Canada. Note: the post office does not forward standard class mail, so the address on your order must be correct. If you feel that your free gift is missing or if you have questions please click here. Will I get my money back if I cancel my subscription? A refund will be issued for all the remaining copies that haven't been mailed at the time of the cancellation. How do I cancel my subscription? Please call us, write us, or just write cancel on your invoice. How can I find information from a past issue? To find articles that appeared in the magazine within the past few years, use our custom search located on the top navigation bar of each page and search for words from the title or article by typing them in the search window. Not all articles printed in BACKPACKER are online. If you know the exact month and year of the issue you want, call our customer service department at (800) 666-3434 to order it.
