Why we like it: It’s the most efficient stove in its class.
Performance: Boil times were slow (nearly six minutes per liter). But that’s by design: GSI chose conserving fuel over raw power. We measured the Pinnacle as about 10 percent more efficient than its closest competitor.
Setup: Testers described the folding arms as “finicky” and “a puzzle.” The windscreen (included if you get the stove in a cookware kit, otherwise $12) improved performance but felt unstable.
