When my pack space is at a premium, I reach for this two-in-one system that nests a plastic 14-ounce cup (with a flip-top sipping spout) inside a 34-ounce water bottle. Alone, the double-wall cup kept my coffee hot for more than an hour. The wide-mouth, screw-top bottle is made from hard, BPA-free plastic that withstood an accidental drop 50 feet into a canyon. When I broke camp, there was no need to dump my still-hot coffee; I just slipped the cup into the (empty) bottle, carried the whole thing in my pack’s side pocket, and enjoyed the coffee at lunch. Bonus: sweet price. $20; 12 oz.;stanley-pmi.com

“The bottle’s fat threads made it easy to re-screw the lid after taking a swig—no fumbling.”
