Determining Your Pack Size

I am going to start backpacking again after many years and wanted to know about internal frame packs. How do you determine the correct size of the pack (I am 5' 10" in height)?

Answer:

Congratulations and welcome back to the team! Whether you’re looking at an internal or external frame pack, size is not about your overall height, it’s about your torso length. The easiest way to understand this is to see it, which is why we made this video -  Pick the Perfect Pack: Measure Your Torso. Check it out!
