Does bleach repel Rattlesnakes?

Question:

Does bleach repel rattlesnakes?

Answer:

I’m a bit unclear about what you’re asking. Bleach poured on the ground? Bleach used on your clothing? Bleach rubbed into your skin? An open container of bleach placed outside your tent? But anyway, as far as I know, no objective studies have shown that bleach repels rattlesnakes.

I worked at wildlife rescue center and we get a lot of questions about how to keep urban wildlife away from homes. I know that bleach repels raccoons and skunks but nvr heard about it being able to deter snakes?
