The Transalpina LTR GTX is a new hiking boot that is specifically designed for hikers who are looking for the ultimate in comfort in all outdoor situations. This hiking boot features a Nubuck leather upper, Gore-Tex® lining, and Vibram Cloud® outsole. The AKU Internal Midsole System (IMS-3) is a unique exoskeleton midsole structure that combines a stable and durable PU frame with a softer cushioning layer of compression molded EVA. There is a second internal 5mm layer of EVA that is bonded to the anatomically-shaped lasting board. This triple density midsole system provides the ultimate in comfort while the exoskeleton frame supports and protects the foot.
