No matter what sort of pointy-toed, high-heeled contraptions you might see on the fashion runway, women love comfortable shoes. And you’ll be hard-pressed to get her into boots more comfortable than the Evolutions from TrekSta. (Guys unanimously love them, too, which is why they earned this year’s Editors’ Choice Award.) Basing their NestFIT design on the 3D laser scans of 20,000 feet, testers have repeatedly praised these light mid-height boots for comfort.

They’re light and flexible for dayhikes, but supportive enough for overnight loads on uneven terrain.
