This fully windproof hooded softshell weighs in under 12 ounces, packs down as small as a grapefruit, and is great for powering up windy ridges in comfort. Extra-long pitzips extend all the way from biceps to the hem, for ventilation on a mammoth scale.

The Gore Windstopper fabric is soft and quiet, breathes while blocking wind, and will protect you from everything except a full-on downpour.
