ALITE Sexy Hotness Sleeping Bag

The Sexy Hotness has more than just a catchy name. This 20°F mate-able sleeper has features that leave other bags blushing.
Photos & captions by Joe Flowers. Bag liner photo provided by Alite Designs. http://www.alitedesigns.com
  • The Sexys can connect on either side, doubling cozy nights. It may not be the most practical backcountry bag (its generic polyester fill is bulky and heavy), but couples intent on wilderness romance generally don't give a damn about such things.
  • Feel like practicing yoga on a brisk morning? Or partner yoga on a chilly night? The middle (toe-to-belly) zipper allows for full freedom of movement and easy, um, access; arm holes can be opened for dexterity or closed off for cocoon-like sleeping.
  • The bottom of the bag has a tough nylon "sole", for walking about the camp. And integrated fleece slippers keep toes nice and toasty.
  • Two large, easy-to-reach pockets on the outside of the bag store unmentionables or hand warmers.
  • The contoured hood is roomy with a system of drawstrings and snaps that let you adjust the volume and fit–open it up on warm nights or crank it down on cold ones.
  • Ounce-counters will scoff at the size and weight of the Sexy Hotness, but romantics will love it as a feature-laden, plushy, pleasure den that packs to a semi-respectable 8 x 14 inches. It puts out 2xs the heat of my old double bag, at half the size.
  • My wife and I made sure we tested this bag properly (we are newlyweds, afterall). And there was still plenty of room for the dog to snuggle in on the cold nights, too.
  • Wait, is that what I think it is? If you need inspiration, or just to stave off rainy-day boredom, the polyester microfiber lining is printed with kama sutra poses.
