Forget Boilerwerks get an mKettle! You can buy it, it has a great track record and most of all it works without flaws. Thanks. C
This is just vaporware. Still waiting. September 2012. :(
Do you think we are all fools........
Worst project I have backed. still waiting for it to arrive. Given up all hope.
Homemade. I wish it was better, but sadly it is not. Gave benefit of doubt. Wish I had not. How to use other people's money and under deliver on the hype. We all waited, and waited, and the waited some more. Tired of the excuses. Waste of time.
I would love to buy the backcountry boiler instead of the mkettle but I am really tired of scouring the net looking for a way to purchase it. If you are going to complain about getting ripped off you might want to look into product availability.
Real disappointment. This guy had so long to make something nice and squander it, with a makeshift burred up kettle. Shame on you.
Lame
This is the old design. The stopper has been redesigned and there is an alcohol stove insert you can use instead of wood.

Nice. Impressive boil time.
Great review! Interesting concept, but seems like the design could use some additional refinements like a better stopper system and sturdier base. $100 seems pretty steep as well, but gotta appreciate an independent developer/startup business.
I like my Kelly Kettle. Even though it's bigger and heavier, I can cook on it, and it holds more water.
Fuel requirements are dry wood.
Poor vid. No explanation of fuel requirements.
