A no-puncture water bag for desert survival
I have managed to see a hole get poked in a MSR Drom - by banging it against a tree when the water in it froze overnight.... But since that wasn't my drom, and mine has seen over 1,000 days and counting, it was worth the investment, for sure.

I have used the MSR dromedary bags a LOT. The light 1 quart versions are great for putting in the top map pocket and using like a camelbak and the two quart models are perfect for filtering water into for camp.

Chaco has gotten less tough since they came out with the lighter sole. Now it cracks even before the straps rip. The old terrino sole would last thousands of days worth of wear. The new lighter one does not...
