Pretty easy to keep clean--just empty it and dry it out! First one I had there was a leak where the hose connected to the bag. The company replaced it and I've used the second five years on every trip with no problem. I wouldn't use anything else.

Pain to keep clean, dry out, general maintain to this water hoser. Prefer the Platypus, easier to clean and dry and fill.
