Multiday Comfort
Because it’s comfy from sunup to sundown, the Icebreaker Sprite Racerback Bra is ideal for backpacking. “I didn’t feel compelled to yank it off in camp like I do with so many sports bras,” says our tester, who wore this tank-style pullover for three days straight in Chile’s central Andes. The merino wool (with four percent Lycra) stayed fresh right to the post-hike shower and delivered good moisture management. Though not as quick to dry as some synthetics, the wool effectively disperses perspiration even on hot days. Downside: Its subtle support serves small-chested gals best. $50; 1.5 oz.; XS-2XL; icebreaker.com

Full support
Need more structure? Large-figured testers preferred the Moving Comfort Serena, a seamless pullover that delivers it without wires or clasps. “Compression is effective but not constricting,” says our tester. “No movement, no chafing, no digging into my shoulders.” $38; 2.6 oz. (M/L); movingcomfort.com
