Gear Review: MSR Dromlite Bag

A lightweight, six-liter bag.

The MSR Dromlite Bag is tough like its big brother, the Dromedary, but lighter: The six-liter size weighs just 4.2 ounces and features abrasion-resistant Cordura that stays watertight trip after trip. Says one tester, “The integrated handle makes it comfy to carry, even over long distances in the desert.” Webbing along the perimeter lets you hang it in camp, and the versatile cap (combining wide-mouth, small-mouth, and pull-top) lets you pour water into secondary containers—or drink straight from the tap. $27-$33; 3-4 oz.; msrgear.com

great stuff. Have been using these for YEARS with no leaks/issues, and the lid is Nalgene compatible for adaptability to water filtraion pumps.
