while I do not have a large foot, I do have extremely wide feet and finding shoes/boots that fit correct is a PITA. I am a 300lb man that carries not only gear for the trail but add an additional 15lbs in camera gear. Be nice to find a boot that I did not need an inch of mole skin for every mile i walk...
big sizes don't matter because no one will buy them. Vendors make what will be most profitable, and big-freak shoes aren't it.
I concur with Donald. Seems none of these boots reviewed (as with most higher quality boots) are made for us size 16+ guys. So your average male 170lb testers are carrying 50lb+ loads, well ok, but I'm a true 300 lb'er with a size 16 foot that also carries 50lb loads when needed. Now THAT is heavy! If there's anyway you could do 15+ reviews, it would be very much appreciated.
Any size 16 thru 18 for us big or tall guys? Any size 12 thru 14 for the big or tall girls? folks with big feet and small feet have the same problem.
I am constantly annoyed at the lack of choice on women's boots, not only in the stores, but in review. I know more female backpackers and hikers than male... why hasn't anyone caught on to this?
