You may have had bad quality socks, or simply the wrong size, the way you are describing your problem.

these shoes are NOT good at all. i just returned mine bc i got hot spots on my heels, on the descents my toes hit the toe of the shoe, and they just don't hold your feet in place. they slide all over. called Keen and when i asked if they stand behind their products, like say Patagonia, Joanne said "NO". i was just stuck with the product. thanks god the retailer worked with me. terrible product, and terrible company!
