Fall Gear Guide: Hats

Two-in-One
This lid is built for working hard in cold weather. It's made with fleece on one side and a smooth, waffle-knit Cocona (a fast-drying, odor-fighting coconut-shell byproduct) on the other.

"The Cocona side wicks sweat away lightning fast," reports one tester. "It's ideal for cold-weather climbing. When I reach the top of a peak, I flip it inside out to let Cocona dry, and the fleece keeps me warm." Gripe: The seams are a bit bulky under a helmet. $26; 1.7 oz.; headsweats.com
