why,why,why would you give a weight for a 3 season tent without fly exclusively for AZ residents.im still trying to figure out what differentiates this tent from kelty grand mesa 2,kelty eden 2,north face flint 2,mtn. hardwear drifter 2,north face rock 22,kelty gunnison 2.1,marmot limelight 2,big agnes burn ridge 2,sierra designs zia 2,big agnes lynk pass 2,marmot early light 2,north face topaz 2,kelty gunnison pro 2.1,sierra designs zolo 2,marmot twilight 2,north face meso 2,north face big fat frog 24!
WITH the rain fly, it is 4lbs 8 ozs. A kelty rep told me that 3 lbs 12 ozs is without the rain fly. Who doesn't take the rain fly? No stakes maybe...but the rain fly seems like a critical part of the tent.
Needed help finding my next Family(cabin)camping tent.I have set my budget at about $300,and while size is a plus.Quality is even bigger** -I'm not abit worried about weight since I am shooting for quality.Thanks for any help.
