I just used these for 3 days of intense hikes in Yosemite. Awesome.

Note: these are 3-season poles -- you can't attach snow baskets. They also offer a slightly weightier, non-carbon version at two thirds the price. Compared to standard poles, though, they're heavenly to use.

No adjustability in length for varied incline/decline is
A deal breaker for day long/weeklong hikes. BD has far better poles.
