can you restore it?
I am also interested in receiving an intinerary of the 'Via Alpina' summer trek that I read about a couple months ago in my Backpacker Magazine. I am really interested in the logistics; such as booking lodging/accomodations, transportation service, and flights. I would like to set it up without a guide service.

Hi Backpacker Editors, A Great video. I need your advice. Me and a group of Canadians would like to do the " Via Alpina" trek this summer. How does one go about making arrangements. Wow! How incredible to find this video. Two of my Air Force buddies and I did this hike back in 1985 while stationed at Bitburg, Germany. Thank you for bringing back some wonderful memories...I can still "feel, smell and see" the wonderful experiences in my mind. Vielen dank!
