Made my own 'lengthy' review here, feel free to check it out. The verdict was it was well worth the money

Any chance of getting these in a boa system for lace up?
When will Salomon make their hiking books in wide widths?
Looks like a great boot for Sierra rambling. Where can I find these? REI...haha...funny...good luck with that.
Probably just a marketing strategy. By not releasing a lot of stock to reatail, therefore increasing demand, Salamon is able to increase hype over the boot. This is common for new products. More stock will begin to emerge soon.
On another note. Does anyone know if these boots fit like all the other Salamon boots?
I'd want to try them on before buying on a website - I have the shoe version ("Salomon Wings") of this boot and the soles are too soft to wear with a pack - with only my hydration pack on I feel every rock on the trail underfoot! They are stable and very light though.
I got mine at zappos.com but they sold out quickly. I asked REI and no one had even heard of them.
Anybody know what the deal is with finding a pair of these boots in the States? Considering they're brand new for 2010, I'm surprised every website known to man seems to be sold out of them already. Is there some sort of manufacturing issue going on?
I want the Salomon XT Wings Sky GTX in size
12(US)/45(Eur)/11,5(UK).
Itīs difficult to find through web in US where we can purchase it!
