I have yet to use my iphone as a GPS. But if you are using enough power to drain the phone it has to get very hot. Hot enough to damage it when used continously. Containing it in a case would only contain more heat.
Cell phone coverage in the wilderness? Is it wise to count on a nav tool that can't be counted on? What am I missing here?
Sounds great but I have yet to find a tougher I-phone case than the otterbox. They also make one that is waterproof.
But it still doesn't protect the screen. Nor it doesn't protect against moisture. I want a water proof case that doubles as a battery pack.
Get one now or be a loser - I mean be lost
