Been watching this line as it progresses. I have a few pieces of their gear and must say that I'm impressed thus far. The pack was too small to store lots of equipment but I guess it was designed more for Everest where sherpas would carry most anyhow(?). I'll stick with my Gregory Palisade and Black Diamond Infinity 50 (day pack)An improvement here and there could remedy some dislikes about the First Ascent line (i.e. some sort of clipping device on the guide gloves so one or both don't get lost, they don't have such a device at present, so taking them off (ice screw setting, etc) on a climb and not losing them can be tricky. Just ordered the Peak XV down jacket now tha it has an inside pocket (water bottle, etc.). The BC-100 jacket is awesome...perfect designed; nailed it first time. Have yet to try out the Mountain Guide pants but just ordered and will try out ice climbing this winter as well as on Rainier in the spring. Overall good stuff!
