| NATIONAL PARKS QUICKLINKS |
On this trip my hiking compatriot and I headed up at 2:30 PM and made it to the cabin by 5PM. It took us roughly the same time going down. This trail itself is well maintained and people often mountain bike it. The only hard part here is the mileage. The hike is pretty fun. The trail opens up at times to reveal some nice Chugach mountains, and also has some nice views of Crescent Creek. This is a pretty neat creek. Its waters were really swollen this time of year, and it was traveling fast!
