Project 1: Tennessee Valley, Marin County
· Volunteer Registration: 8:30am-9am
· NTD Event 9am-4pm (lunch at 12noon @ Lower Tennessee Valley Trail)
Volunteers will be protecting sensitive coastal scrub habitat by constructing a raised turnpike; brushing back invasive species and Installing post and cable to keep our trails accessible and safe for all. (Ages 14 and up only)
Project 2: Inspiration Point, Presidio of San Francisco
· Volunteer Registration: 8:30am-9am
· NTD Event 9am-1pm (lunch at 12noon @ El Polin Spring)
Volunteers will be keeping our trails accessible and safe for all by participating in routine box step staircase maintenance and removal of invasive species out of our local native plant community through hands on site restoration. (Designated family friendly site for youth 5+)
Project 3: Mori Point, Pacifica in San Mateo County
· Volunteer Registration: 9am-9:30am
· NTD Event 9:30am-12:30 (lunch at 12:30 @ Mori Point)
Volunteers will be supporting natural habitat for both the endangered San Francisco Garter and Red Legged Frog by participating in trail corridor restoration around newly constructed habitat ponds.
