Strarted at Rocky Branch Trail Head on Rt. 16.
Rocky Branch Trail (W)- 3.8 miles - easy trail but long
Isolation Trail (N) - 2.6 miles - four brook crossings that would be very difficult during high water.
Davis Trail (S) - 0.9 Miles to Mt. Isolation Summit - Very Nice Views of Boot Spur and Tuckerman Ravine on Mt. Washington, Wildcat Mountain, and Mt. Eisenhower.
Overall this was a very nice trip but is a long one. Our summit trip was nice, the clouds opened up for about a half hour, just before some light to heavy snowfall. Due to the weather we decided to hike in and out on the Rocky Branch Trail. Our original plan was to take Glen Boulder Trail to Davis Trail and then descend on Rocky Branch but summit report called for rime Ice.
