Ruffner Mountain Hike to the old quarry.

This hike goes from the new Nature Center to the old quarry.  This time of year has limited views due to the foliage, but there are still some nice views from the rim of the quarry.

This is a hidden trail right in the middle of the city, so you will hear police sirens, ice cream trucks and the nearby airport as you hike.

The new nature center is very nice, but wasn't yet open on this visit.  The raptor cages are still old, and have several owls and a hawk.  A sign said the raptor cages were going to be rebuilt soon.
