Peavine Trail

A relatively strenuous hike in Oak Mountain State Park.

 This trip starts at the parking lot near the lake and the bird houses and goes up and over to Peavine falls.  Until you reach Peavine Road, which is the bike trail, this hike is steep.  Once you reach the bike trail, it is relatively flat until you get past the parking lot at Peavine Falls.  As of summer 2009, the walk down to the falls is treacherous since the walkway is closed for repairs.
